We are back from Gen Con!

We had an amazing Gen Con!  Thank you to everyone who stopped by to look at or buy our figures.  🙂  We will be attending again in 2014 with more figures in our existing lines as well as new lines and even more miniature goodness.  Here are some shots of the booth from Wednesday evening, before the show started.

We had an awesome “Monster in the Darkness” cosplayer show up.  I loved the demon roach that was added to the bottom of the darkness.

We are working our way through our backlog of orders and we should be caught up with everything but the painted figures orders by next week.   The first round of Xykon and Zombie Dragon sets are out the door and we have more expected from our caster next week.

The Order of the Stick Xykon and his Zombie Dragon Zombie Dragon set are selling at a steady pace.   All leftover Gen Con and unaccounted for sets are now listed in the cart.  When the 1000 sets are gone, there will be no more available for sale.  I have been asked repeatedly  if I will ever consider reissuing this set and the answer is no.

The paint colors for V, Durkon and the Xykon set are on our web site under our “Going to Gen Con post”  (below this post).   The full assembly and painting guides will be up next week after we are caught up with orders.

JerseyFest!    We will be attending JerseyFest Model Kit & Statue Fair next month in Fairfield, NJ.  The show runs from September 13th-15th at the Crowne Plaza Fairfield Hotel, 690 US Highway 46, Fairfield, New Jersey, 07004.

JerseyFest has a large model contest that is open to miniatures as well as larger scale Fantasy, Sci-Fi and horror-themed kits and miniatures.   They also offer some INCREDIBLE swag so if you are attending it is well worth adding some figures to the contest!   Morland Studios will be sponsoring a “Best Fictional Miniature” prize with $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd.

The JerseyFest web site and further information can be found here:

Our staff painter will also be there demoing painting techniques on Friday night and then Saturday and Sunday out of the Morland Studios booth.  So if you are attending, drop by and see us!
